Murray Biodiversity Management Plan
The Murray Biodiversity Management Plan (BMP) has been developed to help prioritise biodiversity management activities in the NSW Murray catchment to maximise the benefits to biodiversity from available limited resources.
The Murray BMP provides the readers with descriptive information and maps that define the biodiversity values across the catchment from the farm level to the whole catchment.
The Murray BMP also presents priority investment area maps where biodiversity will benefit from active management and restoration of native vegetation. There are other maps showing potential areas for management of threatened and significant species and where the community have identified important sites and assets that have biodiversity, economic, cultural, spiritual and recreational values.
